Secretary
Objectives
- To exercise the secretary
of the Superior, University, and Academic Boards, and to give
to know their resolutions.
- To elaborate in agreement
with the President and heard the opinion of the Vice president's,
the agendas of the University Board.
- To maintain the general
file and correspondence systems, as well as the academic registrations
of the University and to exercise the custody.
- To process and to bring
up to date the statistical data of the University.
- To coordinate and to
supervise the activities of Control of Studies and Student
Evaluation.
- To coordinate and to
supervise the activities in the process of national pre-inscription
corresponding to the University.
- To replace the temporary absences of the
Administrative Vice president.
- To issue officially and to certify the emanated
documents of the University.
- To subscribe jointly with the President,
the titles, diplomas and certifications that it issue officially
the University and to countersign the President's signature
in the decisions, agreements and other official acts of the
Institution.
- To coordinate the elaboration of the University's
memory, that will undergo consideration of the Superior Board.
- To give official Information to the university
Community on political, decisions and agreements of the Superior,
University, and Academic Boards, and to publish quarterly
the University Gazette.
- To edit the quarterly and annual reports
about the administration of the University.
- To supervise and to give logistical and of
infrastructure supports to the commissions of the University
Board.
- To carry out the functions that are assigned
by the University Board or the President.
- To control the processes of students' inscription,
academic trajectory and graduations.
- To plan and to supervise the application
of academic and student norms.
- To settle down and to apply procedures for
authentications.
- To define and to apply graduate pursuit politics.
- To represent to the Institution before external
Organisms.
- To plan the academic acts of the Institution.
- To certify the degrees and academic distinctions.
- To carry out the academic calendar and to
be vigilant that it is followed.
- To attend the Secretaries meetings.
- To participate in commissions to prepare
norms and projects.
- To attend radio and television programs.
- To assist professors' consultations, students
and employees with relationship to activities of his dependence.
- To participate in the activities of the table
commission.
- To coordinate the activities of student's
identification. (ID card)
- To supervise the development and works of
the secretary programs.
- And the other ones that point out him
the laws and regulations.
